Meet Dr. Mark Heiser, DC

Not your "typical" chiropractor

Dr. Mark Heiser was born in Dayton, Ohio but has called Arizona home since 1965. He graduated from Peoria High School and continued his education at Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Radiography. After graduating in 1983, Dr. Mark went to work in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories for two Arizona hospitals and urgent care facilities.

In 1995, he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in San Jose, CA with honors. It has been over 20 years since opening Pinnacle Springs Chiropractic. In those 20+ years, Dr. Mark has refined his technique in Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition Response Testing, Neuro-emotional Technique (NET), Acoustic Cardiograph Analysis, and Morphogenic Field Testing.

Dr. Mark is honored to care for so many patients throughout his years of practice and remains dedicated to providing the best holistic care possible.

Testing

A natural method of analyzing the body's structural, physical, and nutritional needs. NRT reveals what the body conceals. This revealing is accomplished by the practitioner using the body's reflexes to accurately determine the root cause of a health problem. NRT is a preventative technique used to find a problem before it becomes a full-blown health issue.

NET

Neuro-emotional Technique (NET) is a methodology of finding and removing vertebral subluxation associated with neuro-emotional complexes (NEC) which are associated with abnormal emotional responses to life events. NEC's prevent neurological imbalances from returning to their normal physiology. Using muscle testing, body reflex points and semantic reactions (physiological reactions to memories or words) are used to assist and guide the patient to reveal a specific negative emotion and when it first occurred. thus, your return to health is actually a "peeling process" in harmony with the timing of the body's own healing wisdom.

Structural Core Assessment

SCA is a specific line of force directed at a specific joint that has a neurological dysfunction. This force applied to the joint resets the "breaker switch" to the neuro-muscular function. Just like the breaker box on a house, once the joint has been reset, it allows proper nerve energy and blood flow to the muscles and organ systems.

Heart Sound Recorder

Developed in 1937 by Dr. Royal Lee, today the HSR has been improved by technological advances to be more sensitive when recording the sounds of the heart as blood moves through the various chambers, valves, and vessels. The graph signature reflects the opening and closing of the valves, contractions and strength of the heart muscle, and efficiency of the movement of blood. In other words, the graph is a reflection of heart sounds and gives us a bigger picture of how the heart is supporting the body. The function of the heart is affected by many systems (i.e. adrenal, liver, gall bladder, circulatory, and kidney function). Heart function is also affected by our nutrition (i.e. vitamins, minerals, EFA's). It is important to emphasize that the HSR reflects the efficiency of heart function.
